Historical Artwork
Created to tell the story of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including the westward expansion of the Mormon pioneers, the Cody Mural is rich in color, content and history.
It is a mid-century masterpiece created by the talented and prolific artist Edward T. Grigware, and it took nearly two years to complete. Grigware’s technical expertise in Western realistic painting, as well as the mural’s one-of-a-kind medium and location create a fascinating work of art and an intricate storytelling device.
